The team of PhyToVALUE is going to exhibit our activities to kids in Brussels through the event “Science is Wonderful!” between 25-26 April 2024.
The event is organized by European Commission, and only selected members of researchers involved in Marie-Sklodowska-Curie-Action (MSCA) can have their booth. It is expected to have more than 5000 visitors in the two-day event.
The team will exhibit four different activities:
- Algae Detective Challenge:
Take a quiz to identify algae under the microscope. Win and claim a fabulous prize! - Algae Showcase:
See algae transformed into diverse products, even from waste streams. It’s innovation at its best! - Fluorescent Magic:
Experience algae’s mesmerizing “fluorescent” light, revealing their secrets. Can you outwit these tiny marvels? - Scientists Battle
You will either become a “Villain” to try to damage the algae or a “Scientist” who try to understand what toxin the Villain has added to algae, through the power of fluorescent analyzer!
